Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was aware that she had an aptitude to run when she was a student at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks following her first attempt. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003, signed a sports contract with Adidas. She then was accepted into an institution called the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set the new world junior record. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007 she defended the title by beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes at her particular events.
